When I was eight years old, I received my first guitar. It was a moment that changed the direction of my life. My mother played the accordion, and my father played the guitar and sang, along with his brothers, Rauno and Raimo Laakso. Music filled our home and our hearts, and from that moment on, I began composing my own pieces.
Music, visual arts, and crafts intertwined and filled my entire life. Each composition and artwork told a story that came from deep within me. This passion has stayed with me throughout the years, and it is reflected in everything I do. And all of this, for the sake of love.

In 2011, Terry Laakso, an artist known for his diverse and inspiring art, decided to combine his art with music. He composed a piece called "Beginning and End," where every note was carefully considered and played by his own hands. This composition was intended to evoke strong emotions and create the feel of a grand orchestra.
